Slumdog Millionaire Creates History at the Oscars
Slumdog today creates History and made India proud today by winning a grand 8 Oscars.. Starting off with the Oscar for Writing(Adapted Screen play) and then for Cinematography, It then lost one Oscar for Sound Editing which went to the movie "The Dark Knight".
But right after that India came with a bang bagging 4 Oscars one after the other for Sound Mixing, Film Editing, Music(score) and Music(Song). The Music(song) category had two nominations for "Jai Ho" and "O Saya" of which "Jai Ho" won the Oscar.
Last but not the least Slumdog won the Oscar for Directing and then the Biggest of them all for the Best Motion Picture, closing the night with a Big Bang..!

- Sound Mixing - Ian Tapp, Richard Pryke and Resul Pookutty.

- Music Score - A.R. Rahman.

- Directing - Danny Boyle.
- Best Motion Picture - SLUM DOG MILLIONAIRE.
